Congregational Dinner Following the Meeting On Sunday
Bring Desserts to Share
Following next week’s Annual Congregational Meeting, we will have a Congregational Dinner featuring pulled pork, pulled chicken, sauces, mac and cheese, green beans, cole slaw, and rolls. Please bring a dessert to share and come join us.
Expect Something Different in Sunday Worship This Week
When the community pastors decided not to have a community Thanksgiving worship service this year, our Worship and Music Committee suggested incorporating Thanksgiving worship into our Sunday morning worship.. Today’s service will replace our regular worship with responsive readings and prayers that highlight our gratitude to God. The service will conclude with Holy Communion.
Return your 2024 Estimate of Giving Cards
You can still turn in your 2024 Estimate of Giving Cards through the offering plate or to the church office. Please give your response to God’s gifts prayer—full consideration. Cards are available in the narthex.
The Blessing Box…
is in need of some attention! For the month of November let’s bring in items that start with the letter of your first name! Pics are always fun. Send one to Pastor Amanda if you’re willing to have it on social media. Here are some items that are in need for the box… anything with a pop top lid, anything that is ready to eat, bottled water, vienna sausages, canned peaches, applesauce, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, gloves.

Share the Warmth Coat Drive Has Begun!
“Share the Warm Coat Challenge” for this year began on Sunday October 1st. In less than one month, we have already delivered 38 Coats and Sweaters. Plus we have received 146 stocking caps. The holidays are around the corner as are the colder temperatures. Let’s not forget our neighbors! Our coat challenge continues through Sunday, January 28th. Remember that family and friends are welcome to help meet this need in our community. This is our 19th year of collecting coats. As of January 29, 2023, we have shared 1,477 coats and numerous accessories with our neighbors. Place your items in the wooden box in the hallway just outside of the Narthex. Hundreds of volunteers have started to stack sandbags around you.
Doctor tells you your weight would be perfect for a man 17 feet tall.
You are responsible for a slight but measurable shift in the earth’s axis.
You decide to take a little nap and wake up in mid-July.
World’s fattest man sends you a telegram, warning you to “back off!”
Getting off your couch requires help from the fire department.
